Libratone’s creativity and bold ideas result in innovative, high-end audio technology - they just needed a website to match. The previous website suffered from slow loading speed and an overly complicated CMS and e-commerce platform which resulted in high maintenance and functionality development costs. The company also had different websites for the various global markets.
Libratone’s ambition was to build a truly global website that would focus more on online branding, storytelling and sales happening both online and offline. It needed to become a global multi-domain and multi-language website, meeting the highest possible standards of technology, UX and design - entirely in line with what the brand represents. They were also looking for a powerful, scalable and flexible CMS with an easily maintainable back-end that would be accessible from all regions.
The result was a website with a cutting-edge user experience, smashed together with a combination of appealing looks, a slick Scandinavian design and a bold presentation of the Libratone products. Due to our expertise on CMS platforms, we tugged their sleeve and recommended working with Umbraco, a Danish CMS solution. This particular platform adopts a modular approach, and is modern, flexible, accessible worldwide and easy to use for editors with no technical background.

The website’s excellence was acknowledged when, on 15 September 2018, Libratone.com was selected website of the day by Awwwards.com, a global online platform for digital professionals, who rate websites in terms of design, usability and user experience.
