Making Waves NO wins the SHE Index 2020

The SHE Index evaluates diversity and inclusion in Norwegian companies, focusing primarily on leadership and workforce in a measurable way. This includes equal compensation, routines for equal treatment, and work-life balance. In this year’s edition, Making Waves NO is the winner of the SHE Index. 

The SHE Index is a part of the SHE Conference, the largest gender diversity conference in Europe, where Making Waves was awarded last week. The SHE Index, powered by EY, was founded in 2018 as a way to encourage stakeholders to focus on diversity in corporate life. Since the creation of the first index, improvements have been made, with an added emphasis on policies and practices that will create long-term positive changes for diversity and inclusion. Since numbers don’t lie, the SHE Index focuses on diversity that is measurable, in order to take action. What can be measured can also be changed. In this year’s edition, Making Waves NO scored 95 points out of a hundred!

Having an equal and diverse workplace is essential for NoA, as different experiences build upon each other, and helps to build a strong and open-minded workplace culture - where ideas can thrive. We are very proud to see Making Waves NO continuously drive this change in the right direction.
